MELIJOE insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you.
We require a signature for all delivered goods, at which point the responsibility of the purchased goods passes to you.
If you have specified a recipient other than yourself for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you accept that evidence of a signature by the individual in question (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfillment by MELIJOE and the transfer of responsibility in the same way.
Melijoe is unable to directly exchange an item at the time of processing your return. If you wish to exchange an item please can we ask that you request a credit note in the first instance and once processed place a new order on our site for the item you require (subject to availability).
Returning your item(s) is a straight forward process.
You have the possibility to return unwanted items within 28 days of reception.
You would like to return items from:
- Step 1. Go to Melijoe.com
- Click on ‘My account’ and log in. In the section ‘My orders and returns’, choose the order which contains the items that you want to return. Click to select the item(s) that you wish to return, specify your reasons for returning the item(s) and confirm your returns request.
- Print out and sign both copies of the returns form.
- Click on the link ‘Download returns label’ to download the label that you need to print.
- Step 2. Prepare your package
- Place the item(s) in a package (e.g. the Melijoe box). Make sure the items you are returning are intact and in their original packaging with their labels. Please do not use shoe boxes as return packages. These boxes are part of the items’ original packaging, so they must be returned intact. Unless deemed defective, only new items that are returned unused, except for trying on, will be refundable.
- Sign and insert the first copy of the returns form into the package.
- Sign the second copy of the returns form required for smooth customs clearance. This copy, together with the DHL label, must be provided to the carrier.
- Step 3. Send your package
- Schedule your return with our DHL pickup service using the booking form provided on the Melijoe.com website, in the section ‘My orders and returns’.
- Step 4. Receive your refund or credit
- You will be refunded within 10 working days (typical processing time) once your returns have been verified by our staff. A confirmation email will be sent to you once your returns have been verified and your refund has been processed.
- If you have returned an item purchased with a gift card, the amount of the purchase will be credited to your gift card balance. Where necessary, you will receive an additional refund.
In addition, Melijoe charges a flat contribution towards returns expenses (except for defective items). This amount varies according to the location of the package being returned, as indicated below:

Order with a voucher or special promotional offer:
The return process remains the same for an order paid for with a voucher or as part of a special promotional offer. Credit is non-refundable and non-transferable to a third-party. In case of the total or partial return of your order, the amount paid by voucher is non-refundable.

By opening a gift list on Melijoe.com you can suggest one or more gifts of your choice for your loved ones to buy. They can have the gift sent to their address or the one you entered when you created your gift list.
Some gifts on your list will become unavailable for purchase if one of your loved ones has offered you the item or if it is no longer available in stock.
Your gift list will remain available for 12 months from when it is opened.
To open a list you need to login with your Melijoe account by entering your email address and password. If you do not have an account yet, you can create one very easily for free.
You can add any of the items displayed on Melijoe.com to your gift lists.
To add an item to a gift list, it is necessary to have first created a list and be logged into the site.
To add an item to your list, go to the page of this item, choose the size you want and click on the button "Add to list".
Note that the Virtual Gift Card option will be automatically added to your gift list once it is share with your loved ones. The Virtual Gift Card allows your friends to offer you an amount of money directly credited to your account.
Building your list is not always easy, so do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service. Our specialist advisers will answer all your questions and guide you in your choice.
Once you have added items to you gift registry, you can share it to your loved ones in the section for managing your lists. Customize your message and invite your family, by email or facebook, to consult your gift list.
You can add or remove an item from your list at any time, even after it's shared.
When you are logged onto Melijoe.com, you can use the section for managing your lists. Under the heading "My gift lists", you can:

- Change the information in your lists (delivery address, personalised message, etc.)

Items added to a gift list are not reserved. If the items on your list are no longer available in our stock, they will be identified as such in your list. Your friends will no longer be able to buy these items.
Some items sell quickly on Melijoe.com. You should periodically review your list and add new items from those available where you think it is necessary.
When your loved ones make their order on the site and once payment is validated, our services ship the parcel. Some items are available for pre-order and will be shipped later when they arrive in stock. An approximate date of arrival in stock is always stated on the item's information.
When finalising their order, your loved ones can decide whether to have the gift sent to their address or the one you entered when you created your gift list.
You have 28 days from receipt of your parcel to make a return.
The return request must be done on the Melijoe.com website by the person who made the initial order. The full procedure is detailed in the "Returns and Exchanges" section.
Once the return request has been made, an email will be sent with a summary of the return process and the documents to be printed. It is necessary that the email with the documents to be printed is forwarded to you so you can program the shipment of your return.
